We are at 2041 A tons as of this morning. We need all the tonnage we can get to finish off this month. A couple of notes:
1. The electrode boiler seems to operate best with the Yankee pressure being at least 90 psi. The boiler incoming psi is actually higher and seemed to fluctuate less.
2. The refiner incoming psi for refiner #1 needs to be at least 25 psi. This is the minimum optimal operating pressure.
3. We seemed to have a spot on the felt on the drive side edge of the sheet. I changed the pump speed from 30% to 100% on the wet strength cycle. We have not seen any problems since, but I would like you to be aware that it is feeding at a higher rate than before.
4. It was discovered that the connecting pin for the oscillator to the felt hps was replaced with a bolt instead. There was a good amount of play causing the hps shower to not move for around 3 seconds at the end of each stroke. It has been fixed, but this could have caused us more than a few problems with uneven felt drainage.
5. The travel times for both hps oscillators is not controllable at your HMI station. The felt travel time was way off. They have both been set up for the machine speed of 5000 fpm. The travel time for the felt hps is 2.25 inches per minute.
6. Work safe and thank you for all of your hard work.
