Housecleaning

We were extremely disappointed Monday and this morning in the condition of the tissue mill.  The control room was a pig sty yesterday.  We were serious about it not being your personal storage area for clothes, food, and dishes. We will start throwing things out and writing people up.  The garbage is to be emptied, not left to spill out on the floor.   There is a vacuum in the control room for a reason. Use it.  Even if you had a rough shift, we expect it to be clean for the oncoming crew.  If you keep it clean, there won’t be anything to pickup.  The bathroom counter is not garbage storage.  It was cleaned yesterday morning and there are cups, an eye wash container, and Band-Aids left on the counter.  You have been given a break room.  Please take care of it.  The lab ladies are becoming extremely frustrated with cleaning after you.  They are not your mothers.  Don’t leave the sink full of dishes and trash on the counters. Please also respect the tools we give you.  If we see another broom left on the floor to be run over, we will write someone up.  Use actual trash cans, not objects that can hold trash.  I don’t understand how it has gotten so out of hand, but we will not put up with this.
