October Results and November 2010 TM-1 Production Schedule revision

We finished October 2010 with Zero Recordable Injuries and 2344.1 ‘A’ tons.                Well done !

Revision 1 of the November 2010 TM-1 Production Schedule has been posted to the folder.
The revision incorporates 68 tons of Grade 207 into the schedule for Green Bay Converting
Machine is running Gr 314 (Subway) until 09-Nov


Safety Note:
November is American Diabetes Month, a time to communicate the seriousness of diabetes and the importance of diabetes prevention and control.

Diabetic ketoacidosis is a life-threatening condition caused by too little insulin.

Patients with Type 1 diabetes are especially vulnerable to ketoacidosis because they can't produce insulin on their own.  If you work with Type 1 Diabetics it’s good to know the warning signs:
• Nausea and vomiting
• Deep and rapid breaths
• A rapid heartbeat
• A fruity odor on the breath
• Abdominal tenderness
• Confusion
If your Type 1 Diabetic co-worker develops symptoms of ketoacidosis, ensure they seek medical attention immediately, you may save their life !
