Today we had a safety incident when an employee was checking his core alignment and the clamp truck driver came in to take away the tissue rolls that were ready for stretch wrapping. The rolls came out of the clamps and struck the other employee causing an ankle injury. Under no circumstance should anyone get in front of a clamp truck when it is picking up rolls or if it has rolls clamped. This incident could have been much worse. We were very lucky this time. This type of accident could easily kill someone. Some of these rolls weigh over 1 ½ tons. Please talk to your crew about this incident and I will as well. Thanks Gary
