Defoamer Changes

The old AF-50 pump is now feeding Combat 1414.  There is a brand new pump that is now feeding the AF-50.  The combat 1414 is now being fed at 77 cc/min.  We believe that the previous 1414 pump was locking up, causing there to be no 1414 fed into the system.  When the pump was working, it did not have stable flow rates.  Combat 1414 is the oil based defoamer that is for entrained air.  The AF-50 is being fed at 20 cc/min for now.  It is the water based defoamer that is for surface foam.  AF-50 can help a little with entrained air, but is not as effective.  Please keep watching the 1414 pump and do random drawdowns as it is more viscous and seems to have a harder time pumping.
