Quality Corrections

Going into the weekend I would like to go over a few of the recent issues that we have had.

1.       Please confirm that the label arrow and the direction arrow on the roll are pointing the same way.  The converters go off of this to set up their rolls.

2.       There have also been issues with indentations in the rolls from stacking the rolls.  Please make sure that we don’t stack a larger roll onto a smaller roll before they are wrapped.  That large amount of weight causes the cores to make indentations into one another.

3.       Please also ensure that the yellow roll lifting device is pulled out of the roll before giving the weight to the lab technician.

4.       South is having a problem with loose winds.  If possible, put the cookie on the drive side.  This is the area that is giving loose wind problems.  The Lab technician will be testing for a gap on the drive side.
