- The ww silo was drained and refilled.
- KAL finished the wire pit return to the ww silo:this causes the ww silo to have level control issues. You must have both ww dilution pumps running to keep the system in balance.
- The flooded nip on the wire can now be run full time at max flow.
- Wire was cleaned.
- Gauges were installed on Yankee crepe cylinders.
- Stock flow transmitters rewired and off GFCI.
- #3 Vacuum motor is bad. Maintenance is removing the sheave off the old one and putting it on the spare. They will have it staged and ready across the street.
- Edge showers are now installed at the felt stretch roll.
- The Yankee velocity control setting has been set at 45 m/s.
- We are running the dry strength for grade 301. When we go back to 314 it can be disabled. Gary is on call for the weekend, but please call me if you have any trouble with the pump or need to increase the flow rate. SM
