Notes on the new creping doctor holder
· The backing blade only has two screws that hold it in place, one on each end.
· The backing blade is different than what we were using; we have a spare on order.
· This holder does not have a blue tube. It has a stainless rod instead.
· The blade cartridge slides all the way to the back and stops when it is in the right place. This is a different cartridge than we were using.
· Because the blade holder is heavier the blade pressure has been increased to 45 psi.
