Lost major production due to inexperienced personnel handling blade change and wrapping the Yankee. Due to this, only the Operator and Backtender may change blades. If someone other than these two is changing the blade due to training, the operator must be with the trainee.
The hoods tripped out causing another 2 hours of downtime.
There were issues with large blowholes coming across the Yankee. A third Vacuum pumps was initiated. There were still problems with holes for the entire next day. It was discovered that the 1st uhle box was valved out. We are back to 2 vacuum pumps running.
The suction press roll loading pressure was also too high. The loading was brought down to marked running conditions. This is at the max rating for that roll. Please do not use this as a method to fix your moisture profile.
